Monthly pension can be granted to the beneficiary who has been working as a building worker for not less than 5 years after the registration as beneficiary under the section 12 of the Act on completion of 60 years for a sum of Rs.500/-. As increase of Rs.10 shall be given for every completed year of service beyond 5 years. The Board may be revised the amount of such pension if necessary with the recommendation of Manipur State Building & Other Construction Worker Advisory Committee. The pension will become payable from the 1st Day of Month succeeding to the Month in which he/she completes 60 years of age.
